Riley’s Rentals started in 2002 with a focus on machine maintenance and a clear understanding of what projects need to keep moving. Today, we supply dry hire equipment and heavy machinery support across WA’s mining, civil, and OEM sectors.

Our fleet is owned and maintained in-house, backed by qualified crews with clearances and certifications to work in complex environments. We work where the pressure is high, and the conditions are harsh, and we back every job with gear and people ready to hold up.

MANAGING DIRECTOR

Ben Riley

Ben is the Founder and Managing Director of Riley’s Rentals, with over 30 years of industry experience and a strong trade background. He spent 25 years in maintenance management before building Riley’s from the ground up. His focus on long-term client relationships, operational efficiency and measured growth continues to shape the company’s reliable and responsive service across Western Australia.

GENERAL MANAGER

Tom Moffatt

Tom has over 17 years of experience in mobile maintenance and 9 years in leadership, including with a tier 1 miner. Since joining Riley’s Rentals in 2018, he has overseen daily operations focusing on reliability, technical support and continuous improvement. Tom, a CAT-trained Mobile Plant Mechanic, brings deep equipment hire and maintenance expertise, helping clients get maximum value from every machine.

RENTAL OPERATIONS MANAGER

Mike Brown

Mike has nearly 20 years of experience in rental and operations, working with clients like BHP, Saracen Mining and Mount Gibson. He’s held senior roles at SMS Rental and Axis Hire, bringing contract expertise and a strong customer focus. He has a trade certificate and a Diploma in Management.

MAINTENANCE OPERATIONS MANAGER

Michael Miller

Michael leads breakdown response, technical support and workshop operations. A qualified mobile plant mechanic with 16 years of experience, he joined Riley’s in 2021 and is known for his practical approach and focus on keeping equipment performing at its best.

OFFICE ADMINISTRATION

Peta Godage

Peta has supported Riley’s Rentals for over seven years, managing accounts and admin to keep the business running smoothly. With experience in aviation, automotive and finance, she brings a steady, organised approach that helps the operations team stay focused on clients.
